A Free Elfster Alternative

If you are comparing gift list and Secret Santa tools, here is what Hey Yoink does: Secret Santa draws, gift lists from any shop, and a claim system that keeps the surprise for the person receiving.

What Hey Yoink does

Hey Yoink makes a free gift list you share with one link, and it runs Secret Santa draws and gifting groups. Search for a product from any shop and the photo, price and link come with it, or paste a link yourself. Anyone shopping from your list can claim an item so nobody buys the same thing twice.

The surprise is built in

When someone claims an item, the list owner is not told who claimed it, or that it was claimed at all. Everyone else sees it as taken. That is the whole mechanic: no duplicates for the buyers, and a real surprise for the person opening the present.

Free, and no sign-up for guests

There is no paid tier holding your own list hostage, and the people buying for you can open your link and shop without making an account. Make as many lists as you like, for any occasion, not just Christmas.

Compare for yourself

Every tool is a little different, and features change, so check what each one currently offers before you choose. If you want a free gift list that works with any shop and keeps claims secret from the owner, try making a list and see how it feels. It takes about a minute.
